Wow that's a lot of Pee... Just Kidding...  Color tabs for the bath.

When you are short and can't reach the toys... why not just climb in them instead.

After Grandpa Kaplun's recent visit Matthew has been in love with planes.

Matthew update

I'm so behind in blogging and since I print it our and use it as our family journal each year I thought I might as well do one big Matthew update.

Helping Daddy with tools

"cheese"

"yummm, Ice cream for breakfast!!!"  Mommy was to sick to complain.

Lassie mustache at our local Indian restaurant.

How do you get the small truck out that is at the bottom of the toy chest?  Why climb in the box and get it of course.

Our budding artist

A friend of mine asked me to make a tiramisu cake in the shape of a hockey rink for her son's 6 year birthday party.

Matthew wanted to help me make the cake.... he was a great helper.

I got distracted by the Bronco's game while I was making the icing and my fluffy icing turned into butter.  Oops!  Kahlua flavored butter anyone.

The finished product.

My boys cleaning up after the snow.

Dilbert update

I've been so busy and sick with my pregnancy that I have fallen way behind on my blog. Below are some Dilbert pictures.

I really wonder if he will ever learn to sleep with a bit of modesty at work.

Watching Robins out the window at work.  This is the most intensity you will ever see out of Dilbert...

5 minutes later... dead to the world... "phew, watching robins is a lot of work!"

We have a transfer puppy new to our club.  As it turns out it is one of Dilberts 10 siblings.  This is Denmark.  Can you believe they are liter mates?

The little puppy next to Dilbert is 4 months.  Dilbert is just over 6 months old.   The puppy on the far left is 15 months old.... Dilbert is a huge huge huge 58 pound puppy.

Dilbert got neutered this week.  This a poor sleepy drugged puppy post surgery.

I came out of the bathroom before bed and found a still drugged and sleep Dilbert sleeping on a pillow that had fallen off the bed.  I let him keep it for the night given he had lost his manhood that day.

Family drive in the mountains.  There wasn't much room for Dilbert, Matthew and I in the back so we all just jammed in.  Poor Dilly!

GDB Holiday Party

This should have been posted three weeks ago, but..... life happened and I haven't had time to post it.  We hosted the Guide Dog Christmas party again this year and had a great time.

Say Cheese

Our failed attempt at a group photo.  We realy need to work on "stay" commands.

so sweet

Doesn't she make a great raindeer?

Christmas Day pictures

Matthew started to understand the excitment of christmas this year.  He loved opening up his presents and loved opening everyone's else's presents even more.

It takes a lot of concentration to open up a present!

"yeah! Aquadoodle!"

"I don't see what all the fuss is about...."

Grandpa and Matthew playing Grandpa's new Ukulele.

Weebles that wabble but don't fall down!!!

"what mom?  Can't you see I'm busy playing Hungry Hippo's?"

He loves his Hungry Hippo game that santa brough.

Dilbert loves all the action too.

But as is typical for Dilbert.... nothing will keep him awake for long.

Broby!!!

It was a beautiful white christmas!  Dilbert how is now 55 pounds at 6 months loved playing in the fresh snow!

Another fun day

Today we tried skiing with Matthew again and then after nap took him ice skating.

He saw someone figure skating and had to try it.  It was really funny!

View into the back bowls at keystone.

View from our condo this morning... can't really tell but it was snowing like crazy.

Grumpy unhappy boy who did not want to go out in the cold... he wanted to stay in and drink Hot Chocolate.

Back out on the slopes.

First attempt at skiing

I am so behind in posts, forgive me. I had to take my vacation time at work or loose it so we all headed to the mountains for a few days. We thought it would be fun to teach Matthew how to ski.

Our cute little one bedroom condo at the base of the slopes.  Was cheaper than a hotel!

Matthew climbing after we arrived.

It's been challenging so far. He seems to enjoy it but a two year old having a tantrum on a ski lift is scary! He is terrified of the magic carpet so we have been sticking to lifts.

Alex and Matthew headed down the "learning" slopes.  It was cold and very snowy.

Matthew and Daddy

Day #2 - we got smart and found wagons to pull of our stuff around - including matthew.

Yeah!  Skiing!

Off they go again.

A screaming very scared Matthew on the magic carpet.

"yeah for the Gondola!!!"
