catch up

I've been so busy lately that I haven't done much blogging.  So I thought I would do one big post with lots of pictures.

Naughty Dilbert.... chewed up a thing of ribbon.

Spring in Colorado is full of unexpected small snows.  After grocery shopping Matthew had to help me clean and shovel off the car.

My boys in the car - best buds

Another Fun surprise snow.

Snowboarding with Daddy in the back yard

Mamma's big helper

A cold morning in Loveland at the ice sculpture show - he loved grandpa's hat!

We had lunch at the Denver Aquarium one day.  Matthew loved looking at all the big fish.
"you aren't eating one of my friends are you?"

"I like this one mommy!  Dinosaurs!!"

We made cookies and iced them... I think Matthew ate more icing than he put on the cookies.

yeah, some icing is making it on to the cookies.

A box is such a great toy!

I'm ready for the "big Blizzard"

We were suppose to get 2-3 feet of snow but instead got 5 inches.  We went out in the snow to play and all Matthew wanted to do was play in the sand box.
The Fort Collins Discovery Museum is awesome!!!  Matthew loves the drums!

Future Rock Star?

How does he end up this way?

Where is Mamma suppose to fit?

Where's Matthew?

Were working on noting letting him climb in our bed in the morning because this is what happens... no room for us!

Rink

We often walk to the park behind our house and today we stopped and played in the skating rink near the park. Matthew loved kicking the soccer ball around and dilbert loved a good run.

GOAL!!!

A happy Dilbert

Parade

We took Matthew and Dilbert to the St. Patrick's day parade with my parents today. It was 80 here yesterday but was 40 today so we froze our tails off.

"Big Snow"

We got about 8 inches of snow recently.  Matthew couldn't wait to go out to the "Up Up" behind our house and play with his snowboard and also try to ski.

Getting ready to set off down the hill

And he's off.  He loves his helmet cover we brought him back as a gift from our most recent ski trip.

And now lets learn to ski

Passport

Matthew's passport came today. He is so excited. He's keeping running around yelling "my pass, my pass..... Go up in airplane now!"

Colds

We all have colds this week in the kaplun household. I guess Dilbert wanted in on the tissue action.

Chocolate

Some days I don't have the energy to try and get my toddler to eat somewhat healthy food. Tonight was one of those nights. He wanted chocolate toast for dinner.... And that's what he got.

"yumm, bread with nutella for dinner!  I suckered Mommy again!"

A sunny day

It's been really cold lately so when we had a nice 50 degree day Matthew, Dilbert and I headed outside to soak up some warmth and sun.

Matthew Trying to snow board on what little snow is left in our yard.  Needless to say he didn't move.

Yeah, swing!
We took dilbert for a much needed walk and Matthew insited on helping me walk dilbert by holding on to his leash.
Wee.... the big boy slide!

"Look mom, I can dangle and swing now!"
