So cute

Phantom got his 12 week shots this week and weighed 28.9 pounds!!!! Wow! The vet says he is going to be a BIG boy.

PHANTOM!!!! I went and took a shower and phantom was safe on a tie down with nothing nearby. So how come when I came back down stairs 15 minutes later this is what I found?

Jingle bell run

I did the 5k jingle bell run/walk for arthritis today. I took both boys with me. A group from work did it together and we all wore ugly sweaters. We had a really fun time!

I've raised 5 guide dog puppies. 3 are actively guiding, one got sick after completing training and couldn't work and one was a disaster and failed. I have never been able to make It to a graduation ceremony. With alex living 40 minutes away from guide dog's Oregon campus I had no excise to not attend dilberts graduation.

It was AWESOME. I was choking back tears the entire day. Dilbert's partner's name is kelvin and he lives just outside of Dallas TX. Dilbert is his 6th dog. He is in his late 50's and had his first dog when he was 19. Kelvin works for the EPA and loves to go to basketball and baseball games. He is excited to take Dilbert with him to these outings. He gave me permission to post pictures on the blog.

It was amazing to see Dilbert guiding. But I would be lying if I didn't say that my heart was breaking all day. Dilbert is so special. I loved him with all my heart!

Flying with a GDB puppy

I was flying up to Oregon for Dilbert's graduation and they asked me if I could take a recall puppy with me. Since I love puppies and can't say No, I said sure we can take a puppy with us.

Little did I know that Portland would get its first snow in 20 years and our flight would be delayed by over 3 hours. Flying with a three year old and a puppy with a flight delay was challenging but we made it. Guide dogs was amazing and I appreciate them so much.

Thank god for iPods!!!

VIGO

Three puppies ago I raised Vigo. This is him today. I just love getting updates and seeing him in action. He is an amazing Dog and has an amazing family and partner!

Matthew Ethan and I went to see the movie Frozen. He loved it and Ethan did really well.

Alex was home over thanksgiving and Matthew climbed in to our bed in the middle of the night. I got up to feed Ethan. When I cam back this is what I found... where am I suppose to fit?

After alex headed back to school I took the boys out for a ride on my Eliptigo.

We stopped at a playground on the way home. Ethan enjoyed his first swing experience.

Portland

The boys and I flew up to visit Alex for a weekend. Flying on my own with two small children was challenging but not as hard as I had expected. We had a great weekend together.
