Dilbert and Suki

My friend Maddie got a new guide dog puppy last week.  Her name is suki and she is 12 weeks old.  She is a Salt Lake City puppy.  Maddie still has a few weeks left of college for the year so I helped out for a few days with Suki.

Mother's Day

I didn't want to do anything strenuous for mother's day this year.  My wonderful husband made me breakfast in bed: his amazing crepes and showered me with roses.  When Matthew got up we picked up my parents and drove to Rocky Mountain Park for a breakfast "picnic" of bagels at Moraine Park.  It was a very nice day!

Petunia visit

Our fourth guide dog puppy was career changed and is now living with friends of mine in Wyoming. She is with the perfect family for her!!!  She came for a quick visit yesterday.  They are doing such a good job with her!  She is still such a stinker! 

Denmark

A friend of mine has adopted one of dilbert's brother who was career changed at 10 months for being way to attached to his raiser.   He is so sweet.  He came to visit us at work this week.

Denmark

Dilbert's brother Denmark was career changed around 10 months of age for being excessively attached to his raiser.  Through a long chain of events one of my coworkers is going to adopt him.  How fun!

Bath time

Dilbert is always so good at bath time.  Normally he loves to be dried with the hair dryer but tonight he just wanted to play.

"I don't want to be dried... with a blanket or a hairdryer.... chase me chase!"

"I know know I am soaking wet but can't we play tug?"

"Come on... lets play!"

"OK so you got me to lay down, but I'm still not gonna let you dry me!"

We had yet another spring snow storm. Matthew helped my friend who came over to shovel our driveway since I've was contracting to much to do it myself.

Hike

I went on a hike with my parents last week. It felt so good to get out and Dilbert loved it.

Wild Animal Santuary

This past weekend I took Matthew and my Mom to the Wild Animal Sanctuary - they have over 200 rescued animals that are all large predators.   The animals are all in huge 10-20 acre habitats.  There is a mile long walk way that winds above the habits and you can look down on them.  It is really great!
