Random Shots

I wish this picture came with sound.... he is making a great "pppptttttt" sound  and he thought it was super funny!  Fortunately we thought it was pretty funny too.

while Ethan was being silly, Matthew was finally peacefully sleeping.

Matthew?  What is wrong with your PJ's?  Oh, I see, you have put two books and a ton of toys in them.  Of course, why didn't I guess that.

Matthew is exercising with his PJ's full of toy balls

Grandma took this picture of us playing in the hot tub on vacation.

Matthew stuffed 35 toy plastic balls in to his PJ's and then went to sleep .  he slept all night like this.  What a goof!

"Matthew won't let me take a shower with him!!!  I am going to scream and scream and  stamp my feet in the bath and scream some more until my face turns all red!!"  "Mom.... do you think all this screaming will let Matthew let me in the shower with him?  What?  It won't????  Well then I guess I will just scream some more!"

Ihop Scary face pancake!!!!

Happy face chocolate pancake!!!  Ethan loved the cherries and whipped cream.

Our last day

Today we all got up early and headed out for a hike. I put Ethan in the backpack and Matthew (believe it it not) walked/climbed the entire 3 miles! I was so proud of him! I didn't take very many pictures as I was busy with Matthew and Ethan but I post some of my dad's photos soon.

Up we climb to the Delicate Arch
Matthew wanted just a small break for his feet so I carried him for awhile .  Ethan finally fell asleep at the very end of the hike.  Matthew was rubbing his head so he would stay asleep.

We made it to the top!

Matthew's selfie

Had to throw this one in there just for fun.  He was upset because had just fallen down but was fine.
Yeah Ethan finally went to sleep.
Happy Boy exploring the world
On the way down Matthew got a short 3 minute piggy back ride
The world is such a cool place to explore and Rocks are the best!

More fun in Moab

Today we drove up to dead horse point that is just outside of canyon lands NP.   It was beautiful!

Dead Hoarse Point

My attempt at a panoramic picture.

I stayed with Ethan while he slept for a good bit of today.... This travel stuff is exhausting to a 1 year old.

A happy momma with her boys!

"Ethan... Smile for a selfie"

Matthew had so much fun this trip "discovering" things.  The two of them have great curiosities!

"Look mom!  Sand and a stick!  Wow! How cool!"

After the park we went to the local pumpkin chuckin festival.... Fun!

Say "pumpkin"

There's nothing like a big pile of hay!

hmmm... I don't know what to make of this.

Not sure if he liked this or not.

Grandparent Appreciation Trip 2014 Day #2

We got up early thanks mainly to Ethan's 6 AM SCREAMING fit.  We headed out to Arche's national park and drove around and walked around a bit until the kids (and the grandparents were ready for a nap).  The boys and I played at home in the afternoon while Grandma and Grandpa explored the wonders of Moab.

so pretty!!

View from our condo

Grandma, Grandpa and Matthew explored this rock while I stayed with a sleeping Ethan .

The Landscape here is amazing!  I've been here three times and I am amazed every time.

It is amazing to think about all of this under water millions of years ago.

And the Grandparents take pictures

Matthew wanted to know if this rock was going to fall on us.

So many rocks to climb over... the boys loved it!

The landscape is just so different and foreign looking

Matthew climbed way up high with Grandma.

WOW, is all I have to say...

Matthew had a blast at all the rocks and sand!

The hot tub on the deck was FABULOUS!!!   We turned down the  temperature and the kids played all afternoon.
