It's been awhile since I blogged because I started back to work this week and have had a spare second to even think about blogging. After only two days of work I'm exhausted beyond belief and am counting the seconds till the weekend. My first day back to work was harder than I thought it would be. Handing my son to a stranger and walking away for the day make my stomach roll and my eyes fill with tears. Work was... well... work.... same crap, different day. But that being said, I could never be a housewife and some small part of me enjoys being back on the job. On a positive note, its is snowing for the first time this year. It is coming down hard and in big fluffy flakes and is absolutely beautiful.
Tonight was our monthly guide dog meeting and our region leader came to the meeting. We worked on getting the dogs use to their gentle leaders and we practiced getting them to walk over a "scary" obstacle. Here are a few pictures for the night.
Barb shows us how to work with the puppies and their collars.
A very cute and calm Rhubarb. Is 3/4 lab and 1/4 golden - a rare cross from Guide Dogs.
Farrah is not thrilled about the new collar and is rolling all over the place.
