Easter Morning

On Easter Morning we had a chocolate egg hunt in the house.... The "bunny" left these behind.  And of course we had to find the basket that the bunny left.

Matthew is looking for chocolate eggs that the "bunny" left, and of course Ethan is helping. 

"What?  There are Chocolate Eggs scattered around the house?"

"He found the Chocolate?  I'm coming, I'm coming, Save some for me!"

He found one!

"Mom!!  The Easter Bunny put one on the pillow! That's silly!"

The Bunny brought Matthew a foam sword.  I think the bunny may regret this decision but "Batman" sure is happy to have his new sword."

Agh!! Be afraid!  Be very afraid bad guys!  

While Matthew and I were hunting eggs, Ethan was playing with Phantom's kennel. 

Afternoon fun at the Horsetooth playground to burn off some of the candy we ate!

What a good boy Phantom!  

"Mom?  Do you think I will be able to go run and play with my brother soon? "

East Egg Hunt

I have not enjoyed going to other places for Easter egg hunts in the past.  There is too much shoving and hollering and Matthew usually just stands there and watches everyone.  So this year we skipped them and just did one in our back yard.  We invited "baby will" (who is not much of a baby anymore) to come join us. The boys had a lot of fun!

"Can we start Mom?  Please?!?!?!?"

Happy Boy... Who knew they made eggs in the shape of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

Yeah!  William found an Egg... Phantom looks like he may have helped sniff it out. 

"I found one in the tree!"

He kept letting out squeals of joy. It was so cute!

"where are more?"

I can't believe this little guy is 9 months old already!

Crib

We are headed to Mexico soon for a family vacation before Alex goes back to Protland.  We haven't been able to get the resort to email us back about a crib for Ethan so we got our own.  It was a killer deal.  Alex found this $300 portable crib for $15 at a used goods store.  And after a good cleaning it was ready to be taken for a test run.  The boys were more than glad to oblige.

Swing

Ethan loves to swing in the back yard!!  He just sequels and laughs!

Bowling birthday party

Matthew went to his friend Jacob's Birthday party this past weekend.  It was at a bowling alley.  He had a ton of fun trying to hit the pins.

One of Matthew's best friend from day care - Rian... Agh... young Love. 

Wow!  The ball is bigger than his head. 

I wish adults could bowl using this contraption and bumpers. 

Bowling is apparently a very serious sport

Camp Fire

So after it snow this past sunday it has been 75 and sunny the rest of the week. Alex made a fire one evening by pouring Tiki oil on the wood.  It made some great smoke.  In the end though it was a very nice fire and was great to spend some family time together.

Crazy Colorado spring weather. ... Glad I had my helper nearby!

I must be getting older or going crazy... i covered my flowers with Ikea bags and garbage cans to protect them from the snow.   Silly I know, but they are so pretty and I didn't want them to die.
