Can you believe it? Ethan is ONE!!!

I just can't believe how fast this past year has gone by!  It seems like I was pregnant just a few days ago.  But whether or not I want to believe it or not, my youngest is now one year old.

Denmark

I absolutely loved my fifth guide dog puppy Dilbert.  He is now working in Texas.  His brother Denmark was career changed at 9 months of age and through a chain of events ended up with a friend of mine. I watch him when they go out of town.  He is so sweet and reminds me so much of Dilbert.

Denmark!  That is Matthew's and Ethan's "lake", it not for puppies to climb into. 

Agh!  There is a giant Doggie monster in our "lake".  Watch out, he might sink the ship. 

Finally after three days of running and playing non stop, Denmark and phantom finally take a rest.  It only took putting them both on tie downs and a gentle leader on Phantom. 

Denmark, Doggies aren't allowed in Matthew's Tent during story book time. 

Oh, such a sad face. 

I see you trying to slowly sneak your way in....

Matthew just loves puppies and he particularly loves to hug and play with Denmark. 

Denmark got a bath after 4 days of playing and being slobbered on by Phantom.  Since he isn't a Guide dog any more he got to snuggle and take a nap on the bed after his "shampoo and style". 

Forth of July fun - 1

We went to some friends house for the fourth.  We had a great time grilling food and watching the fireworks from their yard.

Our friends have chickens and Matthew thought it was so much fun to pretend to be a fox and sneak in and get eggs.

I got to drive the old tractor... And Matthew even  did all the steering for awhile.

Now that Ethan is walking and moving around he loves to really move.  His new favorite thing is to be pulled or pushed in anything with wheels.

This was too cute not to post... Phantom is asleep at work with a bone in his mouth.  What a goof!

More water fun

Its been pretty warm around here lately so I've been taking the boys to the sprinkler parks a lot lately.  Ethan really seems to be getting the hang of walking and seems to suddenly be growing up so fast.  Where does the time go?

The boys crawled into one of the many kennels we have around the house and I jokingly shut the door to take what I thought would be a cute picture..... Matthe thought is was super funny.... Ethan, not so much. 

More sprinkler fun

I have so much fun just watching them play in the water. 

I've taken to using a grocery cart type basket to carting all of our stuff around when we go to the big  sprinkler park and playground.  This time I had extra room so I just put Ethan in the cart as well.  Worked great. 

Matthew graciously agreed to share his coffee cake snack with Ethan. 

Little did Matthew know that once Ethan got his hands on it, his cake would be no more. 

Puppies

Little puppies are so cute!  I am watching Sitka, this weekend.  She is 11 weeks old and fresh off the puppy truck.   She is so tiny and cute but man can see pee!

Punch

My almost 4 year old is full of energy, regardless of time of day.  When his last punching bag broke I search for another one and found a giant orange one that doesn't look like a person.  Matthew loves to run at it and kick and punch and jump on it and generally go crazy.  Its great for getting his energy used up.
