Ice Storm?

I rose early the other morning and took Gardner out for a walk around the park. I was shocked when we got down near the water and found everything, including the sidewalk, covered in ICE! It was chilly out but not that cold. The previous day it had gotten up to about 65. I was confused and wasn't sure what was going on. We had a lot of fun running and sliding on the ice on the sidewalks. Gardner would pull me a bit as we slid, it was fun.

Tree near the lake.

It's not a sea anemone, it's the grass.

So just in case you haven't figured it out, everything was covered in ice because they (the park grounds people) had turned on the sprinklers (they run at night). It's been getting really warm during the days (today was in he 70's) but it stills gets cold at night on occasion.
